Five Saints Players Stock To Watch Against Texans On Sunday

The New Orleans Saints will face the Houston Texans in their third preseason game in just 24 hours and it’s an important game for the franchise on several levels.

First, it’s an opportunity for the team to show that although they lost last week versus the New England Patriots, the hot start they had on offense and defense wasn’t just a fluke that they rebounded from in their first loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Second, it’s their “final home game” for Saints fans to see the team until September 20th when they will play their first home game of the regular season in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Finally, and most importantly, it’s the chance for what could be a huge boost to several players to solidify their spot on roster or even stave off other players from overtaking them on the depth chart.
