Mike has provided tremendous insight on Pelicans basketball all season long for us, and we are excited for this opportunity for him and his fellow writers Johnny Louisiana and Spencer Darr to cover their first-ever NBA Playoff series in their young writing careers.

While the Pelicans certainly face long odds, their chances of winning this series aren’t impossible by any means. Sure they may be considered the “underdog”, but this isn’t exactly David vs. Goliath or the University of Kentucky vs. The Little Sisters of the Poor Community College.

We believe (no pun intended) that the Pelicans have a real shot here.
