1) We Know Who is Starting on the O-Line:

With all the focus on the QB battle it was easy to forget that LSU had to replace three starters on the O-Line. To most football fans replacing three linemen is headline news in and of itself.
The starting five going into the fall are tackles Vadal Alexander and Jerald Hawkins, Guards Ethan Pocic and Josh Boutte, and Center Will Clapp.
Seeing Clapp in as a starter is probably the biggest surprise here. He didn’t beat out projected Center Ethan Pocic as much as he beat out Karl Malone. The coaches are very high on Clapp and wanted to get him on the field so they flipped Pocic out to guard.
