Possible Candidates for Next Pelicans Coach

If most Kings fans had their way, Mike Malone would still be coaching in Sacramento for the foreseeable future.
However, after decent success in the beginning of the season, Malone got the boot and has yet to find another job.
While he may not be the most experienced head coach, he has certainly got around as an assistant.
In fact, he was an assistant to rookie Head Coach Monty Williams during the Hornets’ 2011 playoff run.
He has been applauded for his defensive scheming at almost every stop he has taken.
And although the Kings had some conflicting interests with him on the offensive side of the ball, they have conflicting interests with many people who know anything about basketball.
Mike Malone will definitely have interest in the job. Only time will tell if the Pelicans front office has a mutual feeling.
