Maurice Cheeks is one of the greatest defensive point guards in NBA history.

At the time of his retirement, he had more steals then any player in NBA history, and made the All-NBA first team defense four times.

Cheeks has experience as a coach in the league, and would be able to coach and work with Holiday, Gordon and Tyreke in order to improve their defensive games.

Gentry centering his offense around Jrue, and Cheeks making him an even greater elite defender could potentially make him one of the best young point guards in the league.
