LSU Football Recruiting Rolls On With Glen Logan Commit

It didn’t take Les Miles and staff, and by staff I mean Frank Wilson and Ed Orgeron to turn LSU’s run of bad luck recruiting defensive linemen around. Today they picked up a major commit from Destrehan DT Glen Logan.

Currently ESPN has Logan listed on their recruiting Top 300 and as the 24th best DT in the nation.

Rivals lists him as a 4 Star athlete and member of the Rivals 250 top players.

    Logan’s rankings are something that will probably only improve over his senior year.

    Having the top defensive line recruiter in the country make signing a player a personal priority will carry some weight with recruiting services. A good fall campaign by Logan will carry even more weight.

    I don’t expect him to get that rare and coveted 5-Star status but I would not be surprised to see him climb the rtankings some, maybe even creep into a few Top 10 lists at his position.

    LSU now has two premier defensive tackles committed, St. Thomas Aquinas 5-star defensive tackle Ed Alexander being the other.

    The Tigers still have desires to add other in-state prospects Rashard Lawrence and Stephon Taylor, from Neville and McDonogh 35 respectively……
