On November 18th the Pelicans will return to Oklahoma City for the first time since February 6th.
For those who do not remember, that is the night Anthony Davis hit this miraculous shot
Though Durant was injured for most of last season he was an active force in that February game.
The Thunder will be looking to stay much healthier come next season and regain the dominance they once held over the rest of the West. A full off-season of work for 2015 trade deadline acquisition Enes Kanter will give the Thunder a new look, one that the Pelicans have yet to match up against.

The better OKC is, the more impressive a Pels win would be. And that is exactly what New Orleans will be looking to do.
This will also mark the first return of former Thunder center and new Pelican Kendrick Perkins to Oklahoma.
He has always been an emotional and energetic player, so it will be interesting to see if his role with the Pels amounts to some on court time against his former team.
This November matchup (along with the other two between OKC and the Pels) will be nationally televised.
Fans have always loved to see the league’s best go head to head, so watching Davis and the Pelicans duke it out against Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook this season will certainly be a treat.
