-The good news is that the Saints have plenty of weapons on offense with the only downside being that they can’t keep all of them.
-Khiry Robinson made the most of his night as C.J. Spiller sat out, grabbing three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown along with two carries for 35 yards.
-Receiver Willie Snead has been drawing Lance Moore comparisons but Sean Kelly of NewOrleansSaints.com’s Black and Blue Report said Snead reminds him of a “young Wes Welker”.
Snead did well for himself last night and caught two passes for 30 yards with one of those hauled in while being interfered with but still making an incredible reception.
-Tim Hightower was said to have a look in his eyes pre-game and during the game by Payton which he liked.

Hightower is in a fight to make the roster but he’s putting some good tape on for other teams looking for a backup running back with 12 carries for 31 yards and one reception for 10 yards.
Like Payton said he had some good moments as well as some bad but Hightower is quickly getting the Mike Bell comparison who was a staple of the running back corps during the Saints 2009 season as a short yardage guy.
-The vaunted battle between Brandon Coleman and Seantavius Jones for the #3 receiver spot was a yawn fest considering Jones had one reception for five yards and Coleman was a ghost.
-Did I mention I like Willie Snead?
