The Key To The Defense?
Arden Key working pass rushing moves in LSU practice.
The biggest thing missing from LSU on defense last year was a true pass rushing threat. Facing teams with top Quarterbacks this achilles heel killed the Tigers in SEC play.
Enter Arden Key. Coaches think he’s a can’t miss NFL prospect who will likely go three and out for the Tigers before winding up in the first round of the draft.
He has all the potential in the world, and he showed up on campus ready to play from day one. He’s shown enough in practice to earn plenty of playing time in the season opener. Now he has to show he can do it when it counts and give LSU the big play sack potential the team needs up front.
If Arden Key can consistently get to the opposing QB and affect throws he will set a trend for the Tigers to return the defense to the level it needs to compete for an SEC title…..
