The Obvious

-Wide receivers R.J. Harris and Seantavius Jones headline two pass catchers that with more development could pay dividends for the offense possibly next year.

-Tight end Chris Manhertz is someone who after spending his life playing basketball, only put on pads for the first time just recently.

But Manhertz(6-6, 255 lbs.) showed something to the staff that believes he can develop into something special…I’ll leave the comparisons to a former Saints tight end to everyone else.

-Offensive lineman Sean Hickey and Cyril Lemon were good additions to stash on the practice squad especially Hickey who played well at right guard during the preseason.

The Curious

-I’ve mentioned it before…no Henry Coley..strange.

-The Saints can have up to ten players but have only filled seven of those spots as I write this article.

That begs the question, who are they looking at to fill those spots?

Safety, defensive lineman, and linebacker are three positions not addressed yet on the practice squad so it’s odd that they still are open.
