The Baltimore Ravens were Super Bowl Champions just a few years ago yet it seems that it was longer than that as they appear far removed from that team sitting at 1-4 on the season.
All of the Ravens losses have been decided by a touchdown or less with their sole win coming against the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime on a Justin Tucker kick that was solely due to the inadequate kicking of Pittburgh’s Josh Scobee.
In their AFC North division the Ravens are sitting behind the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, Steelers(2-2), and Cleveland Browns(2-3) so a bounce back is not out of the question.
But for Baltimore it doesn’t seem to be bouncing their way and instead for their opponents with Sunday’s overtime loss highlighted by a between the legs touchdown catch by Browns tight end Gary Barnidge in the fourth quarter.
Quarterback Joe “Cool” Flacco has been anything but cool as he’s dealt with injuries to his receiving corps and has thrown six touchdowns to almost as many interceptions at five.
The Ravens have a possible win coming at San Francisco next Sunday but then have to travel to take on a physical Arizona Cardinals team the following Monday so a 2-5 record could be in the works…..
