Top Special Teams Likes: Brad Kragthorpe to Trent Domingue for a TD!

The Tigers special teams haven’t given fans a whole lot to cheer for this year. The Florida game contained one very pleasant surprise: a fake field goal the Tigers converted for 7 much needed points.

This was the winning score, and gave a boost to a special teams unit that has been coming under siege in the press during recent weeks due to miscues and overall lack of production.

Top Special Teams Dislikes: Giving up Scores, Lack of Production

The special teams blew their first big play of the game, turning the ball over to the Gators on a muffed punt on the Tigers 13 yard line.

The Tigers Special Teams gave up a 72 yard punt return TD to Antonio Callaway late in the third quarter, letting the Gators back into a game they had no real business being in at that point.

On a night where the offense scored plenty of points and the defense played one of their best games of the season the special teams very nearly gave the whole thing away.
