Breaux has a a really tough task ahead of him, since he’ll likely be lined up against the Lions’ All-World WR Calvin Johnson.

“Megatron” is a playmaker, and while he might not be putting up the numbers he used to this year, he is still a great receiver in the league.

Johnson has a crazy, unique blend of size and speed and is a tough receiver for any corner to cover. He still can put this Lions team on his back, if you let him get loose. The Saints will have to contain him, and that starts with Breaux.

After having a really rough game against the Giants, Breaux has been OUTSTANDING ever since.

Every receiver he has lined up against he has pretty much locked down. This will be his toughest test since covering former LSU and current Giants receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.

Breaux will need to be able to get in Johnson’s face, and really disrupt him at the line of scrimmage to throw off both Johnson and QB Matt Stafford’s timing.

Recently, Breaux has been given the nickname “Vice Grips” by teammates because once he gets his hands on you, its really tough to get off.

Breaux will need to show the Lions offense just exactly why that is his nickname, if he and the Saints hope to clamp down on the Lions inside the Superdome on Monday Night and walk away with a victory……
