Rang and Bugler both did their mock drafts with the Saints picking at 11th overall currently but with different needs as to who could help immediately.

Rang’s choice in the first round for the Saints is Florida Gators cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III(5-11, 199 lbs.) who is considered to be a lock to go in the first round and has drawn comparisons to cornerbacks like the St. Louis Rams Janoris Jenkins and fellow alum Joe Haden of the Cleveland Browns.

Bugler went on the offensive side of the ball for his first round choice and decided on Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.

Treadwell (6-2, 210 lbs.) is another considered lock first rounder and with his frame and ball skills has been dubbed the next Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions or Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys.

My take:  Hargreaves for the Saints makes me bit nervous although they could use the help in the secondary, but they potentially already have a huge talent in 2015 draft choice PJ Williams that has yet to see the field after going on injured reserve.

Treadwell is a good pick for the Saints to add a potential playmaker and offensive weapon for quarterback Drew Brees but with the shaky offensive line we’ve seen this season it’s a wonder even if they made this pick that Brees would have the time to throw to him.
