Another way to keep the search in the LSU family is to look at former LSU defensive line coach Brick Haley.
Like Coach Orgeron, Haley is an outstanding recruiter with great experience recruiting in both Louisiana and surrounding states.
Haley left along with John Chavis, but was interviewed to replace Chavis last year.
A chance at a promotion to the coordinator spot would probably convince him to return to Louisiana.
