With the 2016 NFL Draft not too far away, the focus for teams whose seasons are over, is on the draft process. That includes the most passionate and “hard-core” Saints fans.
Mock drafts, big boards, etc are what all Saints fans have their attention turned to, trying to figure out who can come in and help make the team a Playoff-caliber team.
While there are players in the draft who can come in and help the team right away, there are also players who could come in and hurt the team, or just “take up space” on the roster.
The Saints can not afford to miss with their picks in the draft, if they want to be able to compete for the Super bowl again in the near future, particularly before the eventual retirement of QB Drew Bees.
