The 2016 NFL Draft isn’t even here yet for the New Orleans Saints and the rest of the League, and yet there have already been some blockbuster moves.
The Rams traded up to no. 1 and the Eagles also traded up to no. 2. Those are some huge moves, and there hasn’t been many years before where both the first and second overall picks were traded.
All over the internet, you see rumors about the Saints.
Our editor here at Big Easy Believer, Barry Hirstius; outlined that in his article LAST MINUTE Saints Draft Rumors. In that article, he highlighted some of the most common rumors floating around the internet like the Saints are reportedly interested in Paxton Lynch.
With the opening day of the draft inching closer and closer every hour, more draft rumors are picking up steam. Rumors of who’s falling and who’s rising, what teams are looking to trade up and who is looking to trade down.

The rumors never stop during draft season. Theres only one problem with these rumors, nobody really knows what is going to happen until the commissioner is on the stage announcing the pick.
With that being said, it is still fun to speculate. Discussing the draft and what could or could not happen is exciting. It helps calm the nerves of waiting for draft day. It makes the time go by quicker.
I think there are a couple of possibilities of a trade for the Saints in Round 1 — and that starts with this……..
