When the Titans had the number 1 overall pick, it was almost certain they would pick Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil to protect their young QB’s blind-side.

Now that they have traded back to #15, there’s a good chance the top 3 OTs could be off the board before their pick. Tennessee now has an abundance of picks and could possibly use them to trade back up; and draft either Ronnie Stanley or Jack Conklin if either of them are there at #12.

The Saints are only falling back 3 spots and could potentially get the player they would have drafted at 12 anyway.

In a draft where the Saints have only 6 picks, an extra 5th round pick would give the Saints a full arsenal of 7 picks. The Saints need all of the young talent they can get — and this would help them.

Marcus Mariota would be smiling ear-to-ear to see the Titans draft a top offensive lineman for him.
