Recently a lot of mock drafts have been having CB Vernon Hargreaves fall to the Dolphins at pick 13. That is hard for me to see happening though, because if Hargreaves, who is a top cover corner in this draft, is there at 12, its hard for me to see the Saints not picking him.
With the Dolphins releasing Pro Bowl corner Brent Grimes this past offseason, Hargreaves could step in and help the secondary transition to life without Grimes.
I honestly think if the Dolphins want Hargreaves, they would need to pick before the Saints — because in my opinion, Hargreaves is a top player in this draft and the Saints would be crazy to pass on him.
In this trade, the Saints get a 6th round pick, which is the only round they currently don’t have a pick in; and the Dolphins would get their guy to replace Brent Grimes.
