The Saints Trade Pick 12 and Pick 78 (3rd Round) to the 49ers for pick 7

The 49ers are another team who may draft QB Paxton Lynch because you know Chip Kelly loves quarterbacks, but at 7 they may feel it is too high. If they dropped down to 12 they could acquire an extra 3rd round pick and still get the QB at 12.

If the Saints go up to #7, they could get the last of the top defenders in the draft.

It is very likely that Bosa, Buckner, Ramsey, or Jack is there at 7, and this trade gets the Saints a young defender that could help their defense immediately.

The downside of this trade for the Saints is that after this trade, they would only have 5 picks in the draft, but it would be worth it to get one of the young studs at #7.
