Rams rookie QB Jared Goff has a lot of expectations on him after the Rams gave up a king’s ransom to move up the #1 overall pick to select him.

When a team is desperate for good quarterback play, they’ll to anything to try to get a franchise quarterback, and that’s what the Rams hope he becomes.

Fortunately for Goff in this game, the Saints have a history of letting rookie quarterbacks put up great numbers.

Last year, rookie QB’s Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota both put up really good numbers against the Saints defense, and Goff will want to put on a show for the Los Angeles fans as well.

Todd Gurley quickly turned into a top running back in the NFL and will look to come out and put up big numbers against a Saints defense who was terrible against the run in 2015. The Saints will need to be able to not let him run wild on the defense if they want a chance to win this game.

Fortunately for Saints fans, they finally shut down a rookie quarterback and get the win in Los Angeles.

Prediction: Saints 35, Rams 24

Record: 6-5
