New Orleans Saints: Way Too Early 2016 Win-Loss Prediction

The Lions came onto the Saints home turf last year and handed them a really tough loss.
They jumped out to a big lead, and as soon as it looked like the Saints might have a chance to come back, the defense could not get a stop.
The Lions lost one of the greatest receivers of all time this past year, with Calvin Johnson retiring.
If the Saints are going to win this game, they can’t let the Lions jump out to a quick, big lead like they did last year. They will need to be able to keep Detroit QB Matthew Stafford under pressure, and move the ball against the Lions defense.
As long as the Lions only get 3 timeouts per half this time around (instead of an inexplicable “4th one” in last year’s game), the Saints should be able to pull this one out.
Prediction: Saints 27, Lions 24
Record: 7-5
