The Saints players have this game circled on their calendar. They had a chance to beat the NFC Champions in both games they played against them last year.
After the game going down to the wire both times last year and having the wins ripped away from them, the Saints have to be dying to get revenge.
The Panthers were firing on all cylinders last year, but I don’t think they can replicate the 15-1 season they had.
Losing Josh Norman really hurt their defense, with him being one of the top corners in the NFL last year. None of the corners on their current roster, are anywhere near as talented as Norman.
Cam Newton continuing the level of play he had last year will help them succeed. It will be interesting to see if he can consistently put up numbers like he did last year.
The Saints get their revenge and win this one in a nail biter,
Prediction: Saints 20, Panthers 17
Record: 4-1
