#1. Drew Brees will light up the scoreboard

Drew Brees was always going to be number one on this list. There was never ANY scenario i which he wouldn’t, barring an injury of catastrophic proportion.

Personally, I think he would be worth taking with your first pick this season, but you don’t have to take him that early. People will be on the Cam Newton hype train, but Drew Brees will be the guy this year.

As it is, recent history also bodes well for Brees.

In 2013, Peyton Manning set the single season record for touchdown passes in a single season with 55. He was 37 years old.

Now I’m not saying Drew Brees is going to break the passing touchdown record this year. But I will say, he’s going to get close.

The Saints will be prolific on the offensive side of the ball this season, and Drew Brees will be the guy in New Orleans. It makes him the #1 Saints player in Fantasy Football once again, in 2016…..
