RELAX — IT’S ONLY THE PRESEASON

The Fourth quarter of this game for the Saints was nothing short of UG-LY.

Saints fans watched and saw some of the very same mistakes that made this team go 7-9 last season: lack of pass rush, along with penalties, the failure to tackle, bad angles, and turnovers… the list goes on and on.

Now lets get two this out real quick:

Number One: It’s the Preseason.

Number Two: Most of those guys are 3rd team players with little to no chance of making the Final Roster next month.

Now keeping that in mind, there should be no pressing of the panic button or anything that should make you think twice about this team.

It was just as if I was watching replays of the 2015 Saints, with Brandon Browner missing tackles, bad penalties, and not being able to hold on to the football.

This hurt to watch, and apparently it hurt for Coach Payton too, as these were some of the first things he brought up in the post-game presser.

Still, not does one meaningless Preseason game make an entire season.

The Saints will be just fine, and they have nearly another month, to work the kinks out…….

Rejoice, Who Dat Nation.

Saints Football is back…… #WhoDat
