Flying High

Can Temple head coach Matt  Rhule and the Owls program repeat the success from last year?

In 2015, the Owls had one of the best years in school history. However, this year Temple loses a staggering 19 seniors from last year’s team.

The offense is led by senior RB Jahad Thomas, who was  first-team all-conference in 2015 after rushing for 1,262 yards and 17 touchdowns.

P.J. Walker is entering his fourth season as the starting quarterback.  Walker owns program records for completions (601), TD passes (52) and wins (18).

Defensively, the Owls have depth in the secondary and have a solid defensive line rotation. The Owls defensive strength lies with their LB’s Avery Williams, Stephaun Marshall and Jarred Alwan.

In the end, their defense overwhelms the Wave as they fly high with an easy win.

LOSS, 5-6
