Young Saints Continue to Grow Up Before Our Eyes

For the first time this season, the New Orleans Saints are on a winning streak after vanquishing the Panthers yesterday. Their recent success has a lot to do with their young players growing up and making plays.
It’s often said in the NFL, that teams must “learn” how to win.
This may seem odd to a casual fan, because after all: why should you need to learn how to start winning?
Why not just simply line up and beat the man in front of you?
However, one of the most underrated aspects of NFL competition is the mental portion of the game.
Confidence is CRITICAL, especially to a young team like the Saints.

As the Saints know all too well, there is an incredible gap between being in position to win, and actually making the plays to “seal the deal”.
In their first three games this season, the Saints were in position, even in the Falcons game; to have a chance at winning. In the past two weeks they have actually made the plays and gotten the “W”.
It’s with idea in mind that this evening, I’m taking you on a detailed look, on how this young Saints team is growing up right before our eyes in all three phases — offense, defense, and special teams — and what their prospects are for the remainder of the season, to continue growing and winning at the same time.
