The Saints HAVE TO pressure Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.

I repeat, the Saints HAVE TO PRESSURE RUSSELL WILSON!!!!

This defense has made mediocre quarterbacks in the past (Brian Hoyer, anyone?) look like Joe Montana, and Wilson — even though he has been ‘playing hurt’ — is a “playmaker” in every sense of the word, pure and simple.

With a beat up Seahawks line likely to concentrate on Nick Fairley and Cam Jordan (both of whom also need to play very well), Edebali will have a lot of one-on-one opportunities to pressure the backfield.

Wilson has been hobbled due to a leg injury, but still he remains as one of the most dangerous QB’s in the league. If New Orleans does not get consistent pressure on the pocket in this contest, they most likely will lose — no questions asked.
