Can Coach ‘O’ and LSU “Run the Table”?

HOME VS. ALABAMA, NOVEMBER 5th
This Saturday the stage is set, in prime time no less. LSU welcomes the top ranked Crimson Tide in to Death Valley. Alabama has enjoyed plenty of success against the Tigers winning the last 5 matchups, including shutting out the Bayou Bengals in the national title game in 2012.
Last year the Tide held Leonard Fournette to a measly 31 rushing yards and he was all but forgotten about in the Heisman discussion. I’m pretty sure Fournette will remember that when he takes the field Saturday. He and the entire Tigers squad have a lot to prove against a team that has owned them, especially the past 8 years.
LSU enters the contest a 7 point home dog. It is no surprise as Alabama has been “beating the brakes off” the competition week after week.
As much optimism as I have for Coach O and this Tiger team, Saban seems to have LSU’s number every time. This defense will be a tough test for Danny Etling and the offense.
I give LSU a 40% chance to beat Alabama…..
