ALL HAIL: Saints QB Drew Brees FINALLY Wins the NFL MVP Award

Drew Brees is currently on pace to throw for over 5,300 yards and 42 TD’s. It would be the 5th time he’s thrown for over 5,000 yards (he already has the league record), and his 3rd time of over 40 TD’s.

With the current group of receivers at his disposal, good protection, and zero noticeable decline in his game, I think Brees attains those numbers.

If the running game does sputter, or the Saints find themselves in a lot of “shootouts”; Brees could very well break Peyton Manning’s yardage record of 5,477 yards set in 2013 (a record that Brees himself had previously held with 5476 in 2011).

If New Orleans earns a playoff berth, #9 will finally win the League MVP award that his talents have always warranted.
