LEADERSHIP

This team is extremely young in most spots, something that’s been pointed out in many circles.

Yet, the leadership on this squad is stronger than any since perhaps the 2009 Super Bowl champions.

Yes, Payton and Brees are still constants, but the likes of Cam Jordan, Nick Fairley, Kenny Vaccaro, Mark Ingram have stepped up to a role that we haven’t seen from them before.

Watch the way they come together after one of their teammates make a mistake: such as Mark Ingram’s fumbling issues earlier this year, Nick Fairley’s unsportsmanlike penalty against the Chiefs, or Michael Thomas and Will Lutz at the end of the most recent game on Sunday.

Sean Payton’s best teams are one’s that are extremely close to each other, and this one appears to rely on one another for success.
