ANGRY YOUNG MEN

We’ve written about it over the last few days here at the Big Easy Believer, it appears like this year’s version of the New Orleans Saints franchise is a much different team than we’ve seen in recent seasons.

And on top of that: these guys are MAD.

They know that they can play toe to toe with anybody in the National Football League, but have come up just short in key moments.

They are still learning how to “finish” an opponent off. After last week’s disappointment, they will need to come out with razor sharp focus, and sustain it for 60 minutes.

This team has come so agonizingly close to “turning the corner” this year; and if you added up all of the close losses that very easily could have been wins, the Saints honestly could be 9-2 right now instead of 4-5.

If they come out focused and determined tonight, they very well could win a game that no one is giving them much of a chance to win — and keep their Playoff hopes alive in a weak conference this year.
