SUPER BOWL “HANGOVER”

As mentioned, this game is just as important for Carolina as it is New Orleans.

But — something seems to be very wrong with the Panthers this season.

Their usually intimidating defense has given up yards in bunches at times; although they have been much more stout in recent weeks.

Quarterback Cam Newton has been prone to more mistakes as well, and the weapons around him have been extremely ineffective.

Make no mistake, these Panthers are still a dangerous bunch to be wary of, but this 2016 season just seems like a “lost year” for the team.

The dreaded “Super Bowl Hangover” has affected yet another team, and it’s the reason why that through 9 regular season games of 2016, the NFC South is still up for grabs.
