Sterling Moore and B.W. Webb, Cornerbacks

I chose to list these two cornerbacks together, since they were both signed literally “off of the street” when New Orleans suffered an debilitating rash of injuries at the position, and have played reasonably well ever since that time.

Webb is a restricted free agent; and could possibly return with a tender of less than 1 million per year. Moore is unrestricted, and the 6th year corner has played this year at a “bargain” of less than 1 million as well.

Despite the hopeful returns of fellow CB’s PJ Williams and Damian Swann from injury, along with the return to form of Delvin Breaux; the team’s 30th ranked pass defense is an indication that you can never have enough capable cover CB’s.

The Saints would be wise to bring back one, or both of these players relatively cheap. And speaking of relatively cheap….

VERDICT: KEEP THEM BOTH
