Tim Hightower, Running Back

Hightower was brought into camp before the 2015 season merely to see if he had anything left to contribute physically after multiple major knee injuries.

The result has been a major and pleasant surprise to Saints fans, as well as a “feel good” story for the rest of the NFL.

The now 6-year veteran has produced nearly any time he has had to fill in for #1 back Mark Ingram.

At this stage, Hightower is not a feature back for any team; but he is as capable #2 back as there is in the league.

If the 30 year old Hightower wants to continue his career as a Saint, the team shouldn’t have a problem getting him back at a reasonable price.
