The New Orleans Saints dismantled the Los Angeles Rams 49-21 on Sunday in the Mercedes- Benz Superdome, in what was essentially a playoff elimination game for both 4-6 teams.

New Orleans gave the home fans a belated reason to give thanks this holiday weekend by playing their best all-around game of the season after back-to-back last second losses.

The resounding win brings their record to (5-6), and very much in the hunt for at least a wild card playoff spot in the hotly contested NFC conference.

The 49 points scored were the most by the Saints this year, and were the most given up by the Rams in the Jeff Fisher Era.

The Saints will look to keep their Playoff hopes alive next Sunday at the Superdome once again, when they host the NFC North division-leading (7-4) Detroit Lions, in another important game for New Orleans.

But before we turn our attention towards Detroit, let’s take a look back at the Good, the Bad, and the FANTASTIC from today’s contest.
