THE GOOD: THE SAINTS TIGHT ENDS HAVE A BREAK-OUT PERFORMANCE
Coby Fleener and Josh Hill have both received a fair amount of criticism this season for not living up to the expectations of some.
Although Fleener has had a few very good games this year, and Hill continues to show frustrating flashes of downfield ability; neither has shown the consistency needed from the position.
On a day when the Saints downfield passing attack was held in check at times, these two combined for 10 receptions and 133 yards.
Fleener (4 receptions, 59 yards) and Hill (6-74) both got nice separation and their ability to get open quickly gave Drew Brees the chance to make plays against the Rams pressure defense.
