Brandin Cooks, Wide Receiver
Cooks is one of the most talented players on the New Orleans roster. But he also put the spotlight on himself a bit this week when, after a “double-zero day” (zero receptions, zero targets) in last week’s win over the Rams, showed a bit of frustration on his Social Media (Instagram and Twitter) accounts.
This was not really anything controversial; and no — Cooks is definitely not going to become a locker room “malcontent”.
Simply stated, this offense needs Brandin Cooks to produce like a player of his caliber is capable of doing.
Michael Thomas, Willie Snead, and others are doing a wonderful job as Cooks has been held in check, but look for the game plan to involve Cooks early and often in this one.
