Final Analysis and Prediction
I fully expect New Orleans to “come out swinging”, unlike last Sunday’s disappointment against the Lions.
Next: 5 Moves the New Orleans Saints Should Make in the Off-Season
The Saints offense, despite injuries along the offensive line, has too much talent to be completely shut down for two weeks in a row.
Brees will make plays in the passing game, but the effectiveness of Ingram and Hightower will probably determine how often New Orleans gets on the scoreboard.
Defensively, I expect the Saints to blitz Winston heavily all day long, and wouldn’t be surprised to see around 5 sacks.
Nevertheless, losing Vaccaro and probably Robertson may very well do the defense in.
In a microcosm of their season; the Saints will make plays, and this game will be a back and forth nail-biter right into the final minutes.
BUT —– these Saints are just “not quite there yet”….
