WINNER: Tim Hightower, Running Back

This may seem a bit of a reach for a player who touched the ball a combined 7 times for just 39 yards, but in a way it’s also a condemning nod towards the performance of the entire Saints offense.

Hightower continues to play hard, no matter what the circumstances are around him.  His comeback from devastating knee injuries is both heart-warming and motivating.

Every organization should be lucky enough to have a Tim Hightower on it. Tim is not a feature back at this point of his career, but he is among the top RB#2 options in the league, and the consummate “team guy”.

The many young players on this Saints team would be wise to pay attention to #34 — to see exactly what it takes (and means) to be a FOOTBALL PLAYER.
