Saints “Winners and Losers” From the Loss to Tampa Bay

WINNER: Willie Snead, Wide Receiver

Snead’s contribution to yesterday’s game was 6 receptions for 85 yards in what seemed at times to be the only target that his quarterback had any confidence in.

The fan favorite wide-out played a hard, emotional game and most certainly was one of the few Saints players that “went down swinging”.

Snead did have a couple drops, but he and Brandon Coleman were among the few that gave Brees a legitimate target down the field.

The offensive performance was no doubt affected by the absence of rookie Michael Thomas, but Snead did his part to step up.
