WINNER: Cam Jordan, Defensive End

By far the BIGGEST “winner” among any of the Saints players yesterday, Jordan finished with 5 tackles, including 2 for loss; was in on a QB sack, and consistently provided pressure on the Tampa Bay backfield.

Jordan may not be considered an “elite” pass rusher, but is one of the more underrated 4-3 defensive ends in the league.

He is also a linchpin and fine leader for an up and coming defense unit.

While his overall numbers are actually down from this tie a year ago, his impact remains as strong as ever — and he clearly is the “core piece” for which the franchise can continue building the future around.
