DREW BREES, QUARTERBACK

Brees bounced back from poor games against Detroit and Tampa Bay with deadly precision against the top ranked defense (numbers-wise) in the NFL.

His 37 completions were a season high, and his 389 yards was the first time the Cardinals defense had surrendered a 300 yard passer this year.

After going the previous two games without a single touchdown pass, Brees’ throws found the end zone a total of 4 times, and he finished with a QB rating of 127.9.

Despite being sacked three times, Brees was able to re-establish the strong connection with his three “young guns” wide receivers — Brandin Cooks, Michael Thomas, and Willie Snead; and as a result, the future Hall of Famer was finally able to “get his groove back”.
