“THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH” FOR OLDER VETERANS BREES, EVANS, AND STRIEF
There is no doubt that Brees, along with offensive linemen Jahri Evans and Zach Strief are nearing the end of their amazing careers.
Brees at times this year has played as good as he ever has, while Evans and Strief for this season at least (most of the time) have made the right side of line among the team’s strengths.
These are three players that were all a part of that original influx of team talent back in 2006, that collectively won a Super Bowl (back in 2009) and are among the Saints’ all-time greats.
The example that they provide for their younger teammates is invaluable; but it’s an example that could be followed a little better by a few of the players next on our list….
