The LSU Football Tigers have their first true test of the 2019 season in Week 2 in a high-profile matchup against the Texas Longhorns.

After the typical Week 1 cupcake game, the LSU Football Tigers and Texas Football Longhorns square off in the most prolific game of Week 2. With LSU being ranked sixth and Texas being ranked ninth, this is the first game of the College Football season that could have playoff implications for both teams involved.

Don’t get me wrong, there is still a lot of football left to play. LSU still has to get through the SEC, with the three-headed dragon of Alabama, Georgia and Clemson all being threats to make the College Football Playoff.
