New Orleans Saints: Three bold predictions against the Houston Texans
By Jason Reed
3. The Saints will win the game off a key turnover during the final two-minute drill
While the New Orleans Saints should be favored in this game after going 13-3 and being the home team, I am not quite sure I agree with the betting line. Right now, the line is hovering around seven points, depending on where you get it, making the Saints one of the biggest favorites of the weekend.

To put that in comparison, the Kansas City Chiefs are only 3.5 point favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Dallas Cowboys are 7.5 favorites over the New York Giants.
Those are two really bad teams that are facing two great teams, one of which was the best team in the AFC last year. The Houston Texans are not a very bad team, they are a playoff team for crying out loud.
Just because I think the line is too high does not mean that I think the Saints are going to lose. However, this game is going to come down to the wire and is going to be a lot closer than Vegas thought.
Watson going toe-to-toe with Brees is going to put him in a position with little time remaining on the clock to drive down the field and win the Texans the game. At this point, I imagine they will be down anywhere from three to six.
Watson, who will be great all night, will kickstart the drive and get the Texans around midfield and every Saints fan will start to worry. However, that is when the defense will come up big, forcing Watson to either make a risky throw and intercept it or hit him as he drops back to force the fumble
All that work just to come up narrowly short of beating the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome. Don’t expect a blowout, though. Expect some sweaty palms.
