1. Zion Williamson competes in, and wins, the NBA Dunk Contest

In his very first year, Zion Williamson is going to do something that LeBron James never even did: compete in the dunk contest. Not only is Williamson going to compete in the dunk contest, he is going to win it.

Seeing Zion in the dunk contest is something that every basketball fan on the face of the planet should be wishing for and it is absolutely something that fits his brand and can grow it to even new heights. This is like Aaron Judge not competing in the Home Run Derby in his rookie season.

The dunk contest is a young player’s game, which is perfect of a rookie in Williamson. He can compete in the contest and potentially even win and will never have to face the countless questions of if he will ever do it like LeBron. Or, he can just do it and dominate.

Of course, there are the Pelican fans that do not want to see him risk any sort of injury but the chance of injury is drastically slim. This is the same stuff that they are doing in practice to fool around, just amped up a bit.

Zion was already dunking more ferociously than the average NBA player while at Duke and has so much raw athleticism to put on display in the dunk contest. It would be an absolute shame if he doesn’t test himself and see what he can do.
