2. Jameis Winston is just a worse Dak Prescott

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped 55 points against the same Rams team that shut down the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 and even did it on the road in Los Angeles. In that game, Jameis Winston had himself a fantastic game and was a key part of the victory.

Winston completed 28 of his 41 passes for 385 yards and four touchdowns, although he did throw a pick-six in the game as well. With the Saints’ secondary not being that great in past weeks, and with a great receiving corps, it is conceivable that Winston could have another good game.

That is what optimistic Bucs’ fans want to think. And while we cannot completely discount what Winston did last week, we all know the kind of quarterback that he is and you don’t just change your identity with one good showing.

Jameis Winston is a worse Dak Prescott. A quarterback that can beat up on some bad teams and can have some elite-caliber showings, but more times than not, will be a below league-average quarterback whose mistakes will lose his team the game.

And just look at how good the Saints played against Prescott. The defense was game-planned perfectly and Prescott had a dud of a game. Expect the exact same thing out of Winston in Week 5.
