2. The Cardinals thrive at pressuring the quarterback

It won’t matter if it is Drew Brees or Teddy Bridgewater under center, if the Arizona Cardinals can get to the quarterback as much as they are capable of in this game then it could be a tough offensive game for the New Orleans Saints.

The Cardinals are one of the best teams in the NFL in getting to the quarterback. The Cardinals rank third in the NFL in total sacks with 22, averaging slightly over three sacks per game. Leading the way is Chandler Jones, who already has eight and a half sacks on the season and has 62 sacks since the start of the 2015 season.

It might not be a case of if Jones is going to get to the quarterback in this game, but a matter of when.

To be fair, the New Orleans Saints have one of the best offensive lines in football and have done a great job at stopping some of the best pass-rushers. Khalil Mack did nothing last week and the Saints offense was able to score 34 points on the Bears.

If we get that version of the Saints offensive line then it won’t be a problem at all. However, just a few mistakes against this pass-rush can be game-shifting.
