1. Robby Anderson

It is no secret that wide receiver is one of the positions that the New Orleans Saints could definitely add to. While Michael Thomas is one of the best receivers in the league, there is not much to get excited about after him and shows the weakness of the unit.

Tedd Ginn Jr. is fine but he should not be relied on as the team’s second-best receiver. He and Tre-Quan Smith are the only other receivers on the team with yardage this season and have a combined 329 receiving yards in seven games, 101 of those coming from Ginn in Week 1.

Granted, not having Drew Brees under center is going to impact the receiving yards but if Thomas were to ever go down then the Saints would be in an awful situation. They need to add a reliable and legitimate second receiver.

Robby Anderson could be just that and is actually gaining interest on the trade market as the trade deadline looms. Anderson is in the last year of his contract and if the Jets can get something out trading him then they absolutely will.

Anderson has shown the potential to be a legitimate second receiver but has not been great the last few years, so the trade price might not even be that high. Perhaps the Saints can get it done for a fourth and future seventh-round pick.
